Dear Visitors
When the first Covid-19 virus messages came from Italy, I felt the need to work without any opulence. The result was the “EUPHONIA”, “SENSITIVE” and “IMPLOSION” series, followed shortly afterwards by “RED”.
The proclamation of the state of emergency and the constraint of the face mask contributed to the creation of the “MESSAGES” series. These messages in Morse code are intended to help overcome the mask barrier. This way of communicating is particularly helpful for people who are dependent on lip-reading. But these works are addressed to all of us, to encourage us to reflect on our existence. They challenge us: “Let’s stop and sit down. Let us pause and ask ourselves: Am I fulfilling my rightful mission on earth? And what is it? Who are my loved ones who support me and to whom I should devote my time and affection? How much am I willing to give of myself? How much do I need for a decent life? What ballast can I get rid of?
I wish you, dear visitor, a journey full of new perspectives, perhaps the greatest merit of SARS-COV.
